Lilac Sea Nursery School is a childcare for ages two through five inspired by Waldorf education and Forest School programs. The outdoor canyon setting and small mixed-age group create a warm environment where each child is supported individually through the early developmental stages. From language to movement, socialization to self-assurance, the young child progresses with the feeling of security that comes from having a consistent caregiver in familiar surroundings. Lilac Sea is a home away from home where children experience the natural world through hands on activity, supported risk taking, and exploration. Childhood is protected in a peaceful setting which enables the strengthening of imagination and social skills, meaningful connection to nature, and the observation and imitation of the processes of life.
